Uncover the secret of a town in the middle of the United States that has trapped all who enter. The site known as Beaver Bank Villa has a long history, and many years ago it housed apartments, a meeting house, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of a nearby military base in the 1950s and 1960s. Only the paved streets and driveways remained, and a fake town was built on them. As Boyd walks to a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered to him. As Boyd climbs out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room, chained to the wall. Martin didn’t drop the rope. Much better than I thought it would be based on some of the negative reviews here. So good that I binge-watched the first two seasons over the long weekend. I can’t wait for season three to come out. A great starting point for a show that shares some similarities with shows like Lost and Wayward Pines, but is different enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re watching the same show. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes horror/mystery type shows with a bit of suspense. A very enjoyable and fun watch. I just hope it gets more seasons or at least enough so that we get answers to all the questions I still have. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
