To be honest, I’ve stopped to watch/listen to Ben Whishaw read the minutes of a restaurant menu or a local council meeting, so I always watched this one. Black Doves has some great supporting performances, and for those alone, and if you like your humor, this series is a must-watch. Ella Lily as Hyland Williams and Gabrielle Creevy as Eleanor enchant two of my favorite characters in this play. As for Kathryn Hunter as Lenny Lines, we can just say that her performance is superb. When you add all that to the amazing sets and theatrical staging, it’s a clear winner for me.
